$47,200 deposited last year. Here’s the ranked breakdown of what actually paid — and what I almost quit. 👇
Everybody talks about passive income like it’s magic. Nobody shows the receipts. So here’s mine — 6 streams, ranked worst to best by what actually hit my bank account in 2023.
🔴 #6 — Dividend Stocks: $1,840
I know. Shocking. Everyone hypes dividends but unless you have $200K+ invested, the payouts are humbling. Great long-term play, terrible short-term passive income. I use M1 Finance to automate it (link in bio) but don’t expect to retire on dividends fast.
🟠 #5 — Print-on-Demand: $3,100
Looked easy. Wasn’t. Designs flopped for 4 months before anything stuck. Passive once it works — brutal until it does.
🟡 #4 — Real Estate Crowdfunding: $5,260

🟢 #3 — Affiliate Marketing: $9,700
Content I made 18 months ago still pays me weekly. The compounding effect is real — but it takes 6-12 months to see it.
🔵 #2 — Digital Products: $12,300
One Notion template + one eBook = recurring income every week. Zero inventory. Zero shipping. I built my first course on Teachable and it’s still my most leveraged asset. (Link in bio)
🏆 #1 — Online Course: $15,000
Highest effort to build. Highest reward. Teachable handles payments, delivery, and upsells while I sleep.
