What we cover
Newsroom is an independent publication providing reporting and analysis on artificial intelligence, technology, business, and internet culture. We focus on stories where the underlying mechanics matter — what’s actually happening, who is affected, and what comes next.
Our work prioritizes substance over speculation. We avoid hot-takes, viral framing, and uncited claims. Every story is written to give a serious reader a working understanding of a development they can act on or reason about.
Editorial independence
Newsroom is editorially independent. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored content disguised as editorial, or pressure from advertisers regarding coverage decisions. Display advertising on the site (via Google AdSense) is automated and unrelated to our editorial line.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to accelerate research, summarization, transcription, and copyediting. We do not publish AI-generated articles without human editorial review and substantive human revision. Every story is reviewed by a human editor before publication.
Authorship
Articles are published under the byline “Newsroom” rather than individual author names. This reflects our editorial workflow: stories are produced collaboratively, edited multiple times, and represent the position of the publication rather than any single contributor.
